GPAC Names Football Leaders

The Great Plains Athletic Conference has named its football Players of the Week.

Offense – Luke Loudenburg, Running Back (Dakota Wesleyan University)
Loudenburg, a senior from Canova, South Dakota, rushed for over 150 yards for the second straight week as he tallied 173 yards on the ground on 19 attempts with two rushing touchdowns.

Defense – Robert Robinson, Defensive Lineman (Briar Cliff University)
Robinson, a junior, from Los Angeles, California, helped the Chargers hold Dakota State to just 189 total yards. He piled up eight total tackles including 2.5 tackles for loss. In addition, Robinson sealed the victory with a strip sack in the final minutes.

Special Teams – Tate Gale, Kicker/Punter (Dakota Wesleyan University)
Gale, a sophomore, from Irene, South Dakota, went 3-for-3 on field goals with a long of 30 yards. He also sent a perfect 5-for-5 on PATs.
