The one, two, three, and five seeds all posted wins in round one of the Great Plains Athletic Association  Postseason Men’s Soccer Tournament  and have moved on to Tuesday’s semifinal action.

On the top half of the bracket top seed Hastings defeated 8th seed Dakota Wesleyan 4-0 and firth seed Concordia topped #4 Doane 1-0.  In the bottom of the bracket #2 Midland was a 4-3 winner over seventh seed Northwestern and third seed Dordt posted a 3-1 win over #6 Briar Cliff.

Top seed Hastings will host Concordia and Dordt will travel to play at 2nd seed Midland on Tuesday in semifinal round action.

The winner of the GPAC Tournament will advance, as the league’s only automatic representative, to the NAIA National Men’s Soccer National Championship Opening Round (on Saturday, November 22).  The GPAC is allotted one automatic berth this year because the conference is below 12 NAIA teams in the postseason (10 teams).

Sixteen teams will advance to the NAIA Men’s Soccer National Championship Final Site in Delray Beach, Florida, December 1 – December 6, 2014, at the Seacrest Soccer Complex.
