GPAC Honors Standouts

The Great Plains Athletic Conference has announced weekly honors in football.

Offense – Noah Oswald, Quarterback (Midland University)
Oswald, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, led the Warriors to a new school record for total offense, racking up 667 yards, as Midland defeated rival Hastings 61-20. Oswald was a dual-threat for the Warriors completing 22-of-36 passes for 304 yards and five touchdowns. On the ground he carried the 11 times for 43 yards and 2 more touchdowns.

Defense – Lane Napier, Linebacker (Concordia University)
Napier, a junior, from David City, Nebraska, recorded nine tackles, two tackles for loss and his first career interception in Concordia’s 24-17 win over Dakota Wesleyan. With that performance, Napier eclipsed 300 tackles for his career (program GPAC era record).

Special Teams – Chase Carter, Kicker (Morningside College)
Carter, a freshman, from Knoxville, Iowa, connected on all six of his point after attempts for the Mustangs.
