Their 72 hole total was 1225.  Midland posted a round of 301 and finished as the GPAC Runner-Up with a team total of 1239.  The Warriors will advance to the NAIA National Golf Championship to represent the conference May 13-16 at Daytona Beach, Florida.

Rory Doll from Nebraska Wesleyan shot a 73 on Monday and claimed individual medalist honors with a four round total of 297.  He is the 2013-14 GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Player-of-the-Year.  Jonas Christensen from Doane will represent the GPAC at the NAIA National Championships after posting four round total of 302.  Renen Sahr from Midland posted the low score for the qualifier with a 72.

The fourth and final round was played in blustery and wet conditions in Yankton.  Fox Run and Mount Marty College will host the fourth and final GPAC Women’s Golf Qualifier next Monday, May 5.

The top-ten (including ties) in the final GPAC results (72 holes) are considered GPAC All-Conference.   There will be four additional players (for a total of 15) voted all-conference by the coaches and the GPAC Coach-of-the-Year will be named in the coming weeks.

The NAIA Men’s National Championships are May 13-16, 2014, in Daytona Beach, Florida.  The Sun Conference will serve as host.
