GPAC Gives Weekly Honors

The Great Plains Athletic Conference has announced its top volleyball Players of the Week.

Attacker – Emmie Noyd, Concordia University (Middle Blocker)

Noyd, a junior, from Shelby, Nebraska, piled up 59 kills and 14 blocks over 16 sets of action that resulted in four more wins for Concordia, now 12-0.

Setter- Lacey Wacker, Northwestern College

Wacker, a sophomore from Jackson, Minnesota, helped lead 16th-ranked Northwestern to a 4-0 record last week. Wacker averaged 11.5 assists per set and directed a Red Raider offense that hit .298 and put down 13.9 kills per set.

Defender – Marissa Hoerman, Concordia University (Defensive Specialist)

Hoerman, a sophomore from Evergreen, Colorado, helped Concordia to another 4-0 week by racking up 88 digs over 16 sets played.
