The 2018 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Postseason Women’s Soccer Tournament opened Wednesday with three of the top four seeds advancing.

The top seed in the tournament, Hastings (10-0-2 GPAC, 32 pts.), picked up a 6-0 win over the eighth seed College of Saint Mary. Midland, the two seed (9-0-3 GPAC, 30 pts.), blanked the seventh seed Dordt by a score of 1-0. Concordia, the third seed also picked up a 1-0 win over the sixth seed Morningside.

The five seed Briar Cliff advanced over fourth seed Jamestown on penalty kicks 4-2.

Wednesday’s winners will meet in the semifinals on Saturday, November 3, with the GPAC Championship Match on Thursday, November 8.
