The Great Plains Athletic Conference could be adding Jamestown of North Dakota to their list of league schools in the near future.

The GPAC has issued the following statement:

“We are aware of the University of Jamestown wishing to apply to the Great Plains Athletic Conference as they have approached our conference about membership beginning in 2017-18. We welcome the application from UJ and will begin the formal application process as outlined in our GPAC Constitution and By-Laws”

In 2015 the GPAC added College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, as its 12th member.

Nebraska Wesleyan’s membership in the GPAC will cease after the 2015-2016 academic year.
