Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts made his pitch, selling his tax relief package before the Unicameral’s Revenue Committee.

The proposal would convert the Property Tax Credit Relief Fund into property tax cuts as well as cuts to the top individual and corporate income tax rates.
Executive Director Renee Fry with Open Sky told committee members the proposal falls short.

The proposal would cost approximately 240-Million dollars in its first year.
