Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts is leading a trade mission in Japan this week.
Ricketts points out Japan is Nebraska’s largest trading partner outside North America. Ricketts supported the multi-nation TPP deal, but the Trump Administration prefers bilateral trade agreements. . .
Ricketts will attend the annual Midwest US-Japan Association meeting, and visit with a number of companies which either trade with Nebraska or invest in the state. . .
Japan is the state’s third largest trade partner. Japanese companies have invested more than 4(B)Billion dollars in the state since 2010.
