Governor Ricketts Gets 60-percent of Vote

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts wins nearly 60-percent of the vote, easily winning re-election for another four years. . .

Ricketts, a Republican, had been projected to win from the beginning of the race, but says he never considered he had it made. . .

Ricketts says he wants to continue to look to ways to cut property taxes and improve Nebraska’s economic climate.

Ricketts and his running mate Mike Foley receive nearly 400-Thousand votes. State Senator Bob Krist of Omaha and his running mate, Senator Lynne Walz of Fremont, receive nearly 270-Thousand votes.
