Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts Chooses New State Patrol Superintendent

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts has chosen Port of San Diego Police Chief John Bolduc as the new superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol.

The appointment comes after Ricketts fired Superintendent Brad Rice and suspended others after an investigation disclosed improper conduct.

Ricketts says Bolduc has the make-up to address the problems at the patrol. . .

Omaha Police Cheif Todd Schmaderer chaired the committee which recommended Bolduc to the governor. . .

Bolduc will begin as the new superintendent in mid-October.
