Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts is proud of Nebraska’s prominent position with cattle and beef production and recently bragged about the quality of Nebraska beef.
Governor Ricketts mentioned a recent promotion of Nebraska beef to Las Vegas restaurants and steak houses.
Ricketts says state and beef officials have also promoted Nebraska beef at New York City’s famous restaurants. The Nebraska governor says officials have traveled to such destinations as Japan and Mexico to help promote Nebraska beef. He says such promotional tours are successful and proven to be beneficial for the state’s cattle and beef industries.
