Governor Ricketts Announces International Trade Council

Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts has announced the formation of an International Trade Council to help the state expand current trade partnerships and seek new ones.

Ricketts says the group will work directly with state Economic Development Director Courtney Dentlinger and state Agriculture Director Greg Ibach on deals the state is pursuing. . .

Nebraska Corngrowers Association Vice President, Dan Nerud of Dorchester, has high hopes the group can help expand trade. . .

In 2015, Nebraska exported 6-point-4(B)Billion dollars of agricultural goods, accounting for a fourth of all agricultural cash receipts in the state.
