It’s “Water Action Week” in Minnesota. Governor Mark Dayton is calling on Minnesotans to learn more about water quality in their communities and to set water conservation goals
Dayton says more than 40-percent of the state’s waters are impaired or polluted and “we need to take action now, so our children’s children can have clean, safe, drinking water.” The governor and members of his cabinet plan to visit various classrooms, water treatment facilities and farms throughout the week to discuss the challenges facing lakes, rivers and drinking water in Minnesota.
