The Government Operations and Audit Committee of the South Dakota legislature will again discuss the GEAR UP program at their meeting next month. That program has been under investigation in connection to embezzlements at the former Mid Central Educational Cooperative in Platte.

The Committee has asked Schopp to appear again and answers questions about GEAR UP. Daugaard says her appearance would be pointless……
