Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton says the Republican tax plan in the Senate will create a “fiscal nightmare” for the next governor and legislature.

 

Republicans are proposing using money from the state’s projected budget surplus to reduce the state’s lowest income tax rate. The Senate is expected to vote on the plan later today. The House approved its tax bill Monday.
