Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton had sharp words in response to the Forest Lake City Council’s 3-2 vote earlier this week to reject a plan for a new children’s psychiatric center.
The proposed 60-bed facility would have been part of a site that currently holds a family-run horse farm. Opponents expressed concerns about safety.
