Governor Dayton: Don’t Make Across the Board Cuts

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton is again telling House Republicans, don’t make across-the-board cuts to state agency budgets, after they passed a bill that would do exactly that.  Dayton says if Republicans want agency budgets reduced

 

Republican Representative Sarah Anderson from Plymouth says Minnesotans are not clamoring for the state’s budget surplus to be spent on growing government.  G-O-P lawmakers propose most of the 1.65-billion-dollar surplus be returned to taxpayers in the form of tax cuts and credits.
