Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton says he’ll continue traveling around the state, pushing Republicans to rescind cuts in the tobacco tax, estate tax and business property taxes

Dayton vetoed funding for the legislature to try to get Republicans back to the bargaining table.  They respond Dayton signed the budget bills and now wants to go back on his agreement.  The governor says he signed the bills to avoid government shutdown, and unless Republicans repeal the tax cuts, there will be “extremely serious consequences” for the state’s fiscal stability.
