Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton says he’s “appalled” at GOP lawmakers considering delaying the adoption of a protection rule that aims to cut down on pollution in the state’s groundwater. Weber says the rule as it is goes beyond what is practical. Dayton says clean and safe drinking water is “the right of every Minnesotan”–and delaying the rule would particularly impact farmers and rural residents.
