Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts may have avoided the sophomore slump in his second year of dealing with the legislature.

Senator Adam Morfeld of Lincoln says he thinks the Governor learned from his first session in 2015

Morfeld says Ricketts had a handicap after he was elected in 2014

Ricketts followed republican Governor Dave Heineman. Morfeld says the Governor did a better job of communicating this year

Morfeld is in the middle of his first term in the Unicameral.
