Governor Pete Ricketts says he has met with Senator Bill Kintner to ask the senator to reconsider his decision not to resign in wake of the cybersex scandal.

Ricketts says he met face-to-face with Kintner shortly after the Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission fined Kintner a thousand dollars for using his state-owned computer to engage in cybersex

Ricketts says he couldn’t get a sense for Kintner’s reaction, other than he listened. . .

Kintner has said he will not resign.
