Gov Dayton Talks Impact of Possible Medicaid Cuts

Governor Mark Dayton was joined at the State Capitol by several Minnesotans who are bracing for the impact of possible cuts to Medicaid. Dayton says the GOP-backed Graham-Cassidy bill to repeal and replace Obamacare takes aim at citizens in need in exchange for tax cuts for the rich

Medicaid advocates say proposed cuts would put at risk care for more than a million Minnesotans–including seniors, families with children and people with disabilities. Republicans have long argued that the Affordable Care Act is not sustainable as it is, and must be replaced to drive healthcare costs down.
