Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton is proposing raising the prices of hunting and fishing licenses, along with state park permit fees. Commissioner Tom Landwehr supports the increases and says they are needed in order to maintain their basic services
Under the proposal, an annual residential angling license would go up three dollars, non-resident six-dollars. Daily state park fees would go up one dollar and annual permits up five bucks. If the proposed fees are approved, fee increases would not likely be needed for another six years.
