Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton (Tues) announced his newest appointment to the state Supreme Court and the first American Indian in that role.  Judge Anne McKeig talked about how she was inspired by Robert Blaeser, state’s longest-serving American Indian judge

McKeig, who’s from Federal Dam, says people in that community think the Supreme Court is unreachable — but she knows that’s not true.  Dayton’s appointment creates a female majority of four justices on the state’s highest court.
