Seventh-ranked Minnesota outhit South Dakota 20-3 during a  softball doubleheader Wednesday at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium.

The Gophers won both games in five innings, 8-0 and 12-0.

Minnesota (32-3) hit four home runs in the first game and added another in game two. Gopher catcher Kendyl Lindaman went deep twice in the opener, blasting a three-run home run in the second inning and a solo shot in the fourth that made it 8-0.

Fiser allowed one hit in four innings of game two and had five strikeouts before handing off to reliever Carlie Brandt for the final three outs.
