Still unbeaten and coming off an upset of Penn State, the Minnesota Gophers are rated #7 in the country in the latest Associated Press college football rankings.

Minnesota had been #13 a week ago.

Iowa, after a close loss to top twenty team Wisconsin, fell five spots to #23 this week.

LSU retains the number one rating after defeating Alabama. The Tide dropped only two positions to fourth in the latest poll. Ohio State is second and Clemson third in the new ratings. Georgia rounds out the top five.
