Top seed Minnesota was among the Thursday winners at the Big Ten baseball tournament in Omaha while defending champ Iowa was sidelined with a second loss.

Reggie Meyer pitched a three-hitter in his first career complete game as Minnesota beat Illinois 3-0. The Gophers are off until Saturday and need one more win to reach the championship game Sunday.

Ryan Feltner pitched six scoreless innings while striking out six and Ohio State blanked Iowa 2-0, knocking the Hawkeyes out of the Big Ten Tournament.
