Minnesota has added former Drexel forward Alihan Demir as a graduate transfer for the 2019-20 season.
Demir, a 6-foot-9 native of Turkey, played two years for Drexel and one at Central Wyoming College. He was second on the team in scoring and rebounding for the Dragons in 2018-19.
Demir will be the fourth newcomer on the Gophers roster in the fall, joining freshmen Sam Freeman, Isaiah Ihnen and Tre’ Williams.
