A record scoring night from Gopher superstar Rachel Banham carried Minnesota to an 87-80 WNIT first round win over Milwaukee Wednesday.

Banham notched a WNIT record 48 point game in leading her team, with 35 of those points coming in the second half.

The 20-11 Gophers will host South Dakota in second round action on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
