Tourism Department Secretary Jim Hagen says he spent some time in the Black Hills last week, taking time to look at out of state license plates…

 

The state levies an extra half percent tourism sales tax in the warmer months. Hagen says they are seeing an upward trend in those dollars…

 

Hagen says they are also seeing other positive signs across the state…

 

Hagen says they are just finishing up their promotions for the so called “shoulder season” of fall into winter.
