The Government Operations and Audit Committee of the South Dakota legislature voted eight to two to issue subpoenas to Labor Department Secretary Marcia Hultman and the former head of the Certified Appraiser Program, Sherry Bren. The committee wants more details around the appraiser certification of Governor Kristi Noem’s daughter.
