The Government Operations and Audit Committee of the South Dakota legislature reviewed a long list of financial markers for the Board of Regents at their meeting in Pierre Tuesday.

Regents Executive Director Brian Maher told the committee they are updating their strategic plan….

Maher says the task force report will be part of their new plan..

SB 55 was passed by last years legislature mandating the report on operational efficiencies by the Regents.

Maher says they have come up with four goals…

Members of the Regents office then answered detailed financial question from the committee for over an hour.
