This week Glacial Lakes Energy celebrated their 15th anniversary and recently completed unit train shipping facility at its 100-million-gallon ethanol plant in Watertown, South Dakota. CEO Jim Seurer says their proud of their success, including the improved local basis levels for corn in the area.
He says they’ve also been able to provide a good return on investment to their shareholders over the 15 years of operation.
Seurer says the just completed a state-of-the-art unit train facility at Watertown will allow them to expand into global markets.
Glacial Lakes Energy also owns and operates a plant in Mina, with the combined ethanol production at more than 240 million gallons annually.
