The winners of the Governors annual “Giant Vision” competitions were announced at the GOED conference last week in Sioux Falls.

The first-place business winner this year was “My Part Pros LLC” of Sioux Falls. Created by brothers Elliot and David Zimmer, the software will help track warehouse inventory….

David Zimmer says they came up with the idea through their jobs…

First place brings a twenty-thousand-dollar award. Zimmer says that will help them bring their software to a wider market….

Zimmer says while it’s just the two of them now, they can see the need to hire more staff in the next year.
Six different business ideas won awards this year, while five student groups were also selected. The competition is co-sponsored by the state Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
