Citizens will get a chance to learn about education funding, and the factors in teacher pay, and what options the state may consider in the next few years.
The South Dakota Budget and Policy Institute will hold meetings around the state in the next few weeks to explain the process, and get feedback.

The first session will be tomorrow (Wednesday) 3 to 5 pm at the Vermillion public library. Then meetings will be held next week in Rapid City, Pierre and Aberdeen, with another meeting on September 18th in Sioux Falls.
