A bill that would prohibit any gender medical procedures on anyone sixteen and under will be heard on the floor of the SD House next week.
The bill passed out of the House State Affairs Committee this week on an eight to five vote.
Majority Leader, Representative Lee Qualm of Platte, says he isn’t sure of support for the bill….

The ACLU has threatened legal action if the legislature approves the bill.
Qualm says they don’t worry about that….

The bill could be up for debate next Wednesday or Thursday.
