A record number of travelers is expected to be on the roads in Nebraska and nationwide over the upcoming year-end holidays and as demand for gasoline rises, so will the price. Gail Weinholzer, at Triple-A-Nebraska, says gas prices in the Husker State are averaging two-dollars 21-cents a gallon.
Weinholzer says the price of gasoline is rising but it won’t keep people home.
At two twenty-one a gallon, that’s up six-cents in the past week and 13-cents in the past month.
