The Yankton Kiwanis Club is partnering with the South Dakota Community Foundation to create a fund to back math and science at Yankton High School.

Dan Rafferty is treasurer of the club, and says the fund will be named the “Don Modereger  (mod-re-grr)Yankton High School Math & Science Fund.”

Rafferty says Modereger was a long time supporter of the goals of the Kiwanis Club…

A combination of funds totaling three thousand dollars will be the initial investment. Future earnings from the fund will be used by the math and science departments at the high school.
