Avera Health has named Theresa Guenther as C.E.O. of Avera Creighton Hospital. She has been acting as interim and the transition will take place on February first.
She says its been a learning experience……

Guenther says they have been able to find and hold on to medical providers….
Guenther has been with Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton for twenty years.
The Creighton hospital has ten beds, and the attached nursing home has forty beds available.
