The Fuels America Coalition has launched a six figure advertising purchase on radio and television in support of re election bids of Minnesota Senator Al Franken and Representative Collin Peterson as well as Nebraska Congressman Lee Terry. Franken and Peterson are Democrats and Terry is a Republican. Coalition Spokesman Brian Jennings, Executive Vice President of the American Coalition for Ethanol says those candidates support renewable fuels issues like the R-F-S.
Jennings says energy and renewable fuel issues will be the major ones for the new Congress when they convene early next year.
Besides Franken, Peterson and Terry, the Fuels America group is also backing Gary Peters of Michigan in his U.S. House race.
