The deadline is approaching for dairy producers to sign up for important risk management programs offered by the Farm Service Agency. These include the Dairy Margin Coverage Program and Supplemental Dairy Margin Coverage. Samantha Sherwood, Agricultural Program Specialist with Iowa Farm Service Agency, says these programs are a great opportunity for Dairy producers to minimize risk.
She notes that producers should check with their local FSA offices before signing up to make sure they have the required paperwork.
