Voters in the Freeman Public School District will decide on a six hundred-thousand-dollar property tax opt out on August twenty ninth.
Superintendent Kevin Kunz says they are being pinched on several sides….
Kunz says they have had several rounds of budget cuts….
Kunz says they also made an effort to stay competitive with teacher pay…..
The property tax opt out would be for five years. A couple of earlier efforts to pass opt outs were rejected by voters.
