Free Flu Shots For Yankton Students

All Yankton Public School students will have access to a free flu shot provided by the school district and Avera Sacred Heart.  Kathy Wagner is the director of student services and says the goal of vaccinating all students is to control the spread of the flu in the community…

 

Each student must have a consent formed signed by a parent before they can receive the vaccine.  The forms are due to the middle and high schools by October 21st and to the elementary school by October 28th. Those forms have been sent home with each student along with important information about the vaccine…

 

Shots will be administered for Yankton Middle and High Schools on October 27th, Lincoln and Stewart School on November 3rd, and Webster and Beadle schools will be on November 6th.
