Minnesota Senator Al Franken is wrapping up a nearly week-long trip to Cuba as part of a congressional delegation that’s exploring ways the U.S. can expand trade opportunities with the island nation.

Franken says he’s hoping the U.S. will lift its trade embargo– a measure that will have to work its way through Congress. Franken says it will be good for Minnesota agriculture, not only exports, but also opportunities to educate Cubans.  He adds the island nation also has very little internet.
