A group of business concerns wants to see Nebraska make the final push to complete the Nebraska Expressway System.
The group…Four Lanes for Nebraska…says it is past time for the state to complete the final major link of the expressway system; 45 miles between Norfolk and Fremont in northeast Nebraska.
Four Lanes Executive Director Josh Moenning says lack of completion is holding the state back.
A study commissioned by the group estimates the state could generate 145-Million dollars annually by completing Highway 275.
Moenning says the Expressway System had long been one of the top priorities of the Nebraska Department of Roads…and needs to again move to the top of the list of needed infrastructure improvements.
