Former Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd has filed a lawsuit in Florida against famed orthopedist Dr. James Andrews and several other parties for alleged negligence during a 2016 knee surgery that caused career-ending complications.
Floyd’s attorney, Brad Sohn, says his client is seeking at least $180 million for potentially lost earnings.
Sohn says a pain blocker administered after the operation caused nerve damage in Floyd’s knee that prevented him from returning.
