A former Minnesota Viking came back to Dakotafest in Mitchell yesterday and back home to his rural roots. NFL Linebacker Chad Greenway spoke to fans about growing up on a farm near Mt. Vernon and the life lessons that taught him.

He attributes his work ethic on the football field to what he learned on the farm.

Greenway says this was his first time back to Dakotafest since he was a kid. He also signed autographs in the Pioneer tent as part of his duties serving as a spokesperson for the seed corn brand.
