Nebraska Corn Board’s Director of Market Development Roger Berry takes over as Nebraska Ethanol Board Administrator on Friday. Berry takes over at the end of the Board’s meeting on Friday from Sarah Caswell who has resigned to spend more time with her family. Berry, the former Director of the Alliance for the Future of Agriculture in Nebraska says one of his initial goals is to continue with the study of E-30 in the state fleet.

He says if more consumers would put ethanol into their vehicle’s tanks, they would be helping the state’s farmers and ranchers who are dealing with a tough economic down turn .

Berry says there’s a lot of potential for ethanol plants in Nebraska and throughout the country to export their product to customers overseas.

He says other potential export markets for U.S. ethanol include India and Indonesia as well as Vietnam.
