Nebraska Senator Deb Fischer’s Democratic Challenger Jane Raybould is criticizing her over Congress’s lack of action on tariffs and trade. Former American Soybean Association President and Nebraska farmer Bart Ruth, a Republican is backing Raybould and says the tariff and trade war issue needs to be resolved.

He says Raybould is right on challenging Fischer on the issue and Congress and the Admnistration needs to take action to protect America’s farmers and ranchers.

Ruth says Raybould has a good agricultural background and would represent Nebraska well in the Senate if she’s elected.

Ruth says the negative impacts of a trade war will have multi year effects on U.S. agriculture.
